ご挨拶
私がここ繊維の街、浜松に生まれて半世紀以上が経ちました。
その間、我々繊維産業の取り巻き、環境は激変してしまいました。
浜松は、古くから全国的に有名な織物の産地として知られていましたが、
近年は輸入品の激増化によってその地位すらも危うくなっております。
今、我々のような産地にて生地を企画して販売する会社はとても珍しいと言われてますが、
「自分たちの価値観で生地をつくって売りたい」という一心でこの仕事を継続して参りました。
その集大成が、今ここでブランド「ＤＫ」という形で
ご紹介させて頂いている生地たちです。
素敵な生地をつくって、買って下さった方も、売った方も、作ってくれた職人さんも、
全員が幸せになれる。そんなテキスタイルの世界の実現を常に目指しております。

Over half a century has passed since I was born here in the textile town of Hamamatsu.
During that time, there has been much change and upheaval in our textile industry.
Hamamatsu has long been known throughout the country as a famous producer of textiles and fabrics.
But in recent years, that status has been put in jeopardy through the rapid influx of imported goods.
Lately, it’s been said that companies like ourselves – we remain locally based, designing and selling our fabrics – are quite rare.
But our hearts and souls have been dedicated to “making and selling textiles according to our values,”
and we have always continued working in this way.
The culmination of that work is embodied in the fabrics we introduce here, in the form of our brand, DK.
Everyone finds happiness in this process – from the people who make these wonderful fabrics,
to the customers who purchase them, the people who sell them, and the craftspeople who produce them.
Our goal at all times is to make such a world of textiles possible.
