Rudeback-Halfは、2000年代後期の生活者の価値観の変化からヒントを得る形で、『Rudeback®』の製造技術をベースに企画されました。

1990年代に広まった「色落ちを自分流に育てる文化」は、時代の変化とともに大衆性を失いはじめ、やがて自分で癖をつけて楽しむよりも、新品の状態から色落ち加工されたアイテムが求められるようになったのです。

手軽さや合理性が求められる現在、Rudeback-Halfシリーズはますます活躍の場を増やしています。
しかしその人気を支えているのは、オートメーションな環境で「色落ち”風”」を製造する技術ではありません。

Rudeback-Halfの成功要因は、「”本物の”色落ち」を追求し、究極ともいえる非合理さの元で失敗と挑戦を繰り返してきた職人たちの情熱そのものである。そういっても過言ではありません。

Plans for the Rudeback-Half were brought forth based on the manufacturing technology of the "Rudeback®," along with hints gleaned from the change in consumer values in the late 2000s.

The "culture of nurturing color fading in each person’s own style" that grew in the 1990s began to lose its popular appeal along with the changing times, as people stopped enjoying adding their own touches and came to seek items that have already gone through color fading processing while being brand new instead.

In the modern day, when ease of use and reasonableness are desired, the Rudeback-Half series is coming to prominence even more.
However, this popularity is not backed by technology to manufacture color faded "styles" in an automated environment.

The success of the Rudeback-Half can be attributed to the passion of the craftspeople who repeatedly went through failure and challenges in a supremely irrational manner in pursuit of "true" color fading. This is not an exaggeration.

Elegant, fine color fading that is unique to the DK brand

Rudeback®の製法をベースとし、硫化染料を用いて繰り返し染められた生地を、さらにウォッシャーで色を洗い落とす手法で製造されています。

決してハードな色落ちではありません。
DKブランドならではの「上品かつ繊細な色落ち加工」が施されていることが特徴です。

新品の状態から「こなれ感」を楽しみつつ、着用を重ねるたびに表情を変えていく魅力的な生地に仕上げています。

Using the manufacturing method for the Rudeback® as a base, fabric that has been dyed repeatedly using sulfur dyes has its colors washed out in a washer.

It is not at all hard color fading.
Its characteristic feature lies in the fact that it has gone through the DK brand’s unique elegant, fine color fading processing.

This attractive fabric is finished to allow you to enjoy its sense of harmony from when it is brand new, while changing its appearance as you continue to wear it.

    Washed linen made in Bergamo

    ゆらぎの少ない美しいリネン糸を織り上げ、遠州の職人が丁寧に染色し、洗い込んだ平織のリネン生地。
    くすみがかった色合いや、不均一で独特なムラ感。素材の内側からにじみでる微細なツヤ感。洗いこまれ生まれた柔らかで豊かな風合いが特徴です。

    This is a flat-woven linen fabric woven from beautiful linen yarn with little shimmer that is carefully dyed by Enshu craftspeople before going through washing processing.
    Its characteristics are its slightly somber colors and unique unevenness, fine gloss that seeps out of the inside of the materials, and soft and rich texture that is produced by washing processing.
